In friday's lesson, we watched everybody's preliminary exercises as a class and we gave feedback to each group. The feedback that was given to my group was that the continuity could have been better because we missed a camera shot and should have filmed Charlotte actaully sitting down on a chair after she had entered the room. We didn't realise we had missed this out when we were filming, we only came across it when we were editing our prelim on iMovie. We tried to fix it by putting another shot of my shocked/scared face in to cover up our mistake, but technically it would have looked slightly better if we had filmed Charlotte actually sitting down because it would have displayed more continuity in our prelim.
The feedback in class was useful because it has made me more concsious to make sure every shot needed is filmed and that our storyboard is followed well. I think as a group we will be more careful to check that we have filmed everything we need to during the filming of our 2 minute film opening for our coursework.
